shiiiiiiiny (first non rap song related subject title) [02 Feb 2006|05:35am] [ mood | reflective and slightly bitter ] [ music | the decemberists ] Indulge me for a bit, if you will, i know sport related griping isnt essentially LJ material, but its becoming more and more evident that this year sucked balls baseball-wise. I refuse to blame me, but I sure as hell blame Czar, that task master bull shitting liar. This came on the heels of watching the Carmel baseball team beat Lake Forest soundly on their way to the Supersectional (regardless of accuracy, that is now one word). I nearly went there and in that aspect of my life, I would've so much happier. Actually, its baseball thats led to a lot of i-nearly-dids and maybe-i-shouldnt-haves generally, because theres been so much turmoil generally thats come from two moves (gurnee to san diego, then san diego to lville). It wasnt enough to numb me to the process and too many to let allow settling (no "sound of settling" for me, ben...though ur still my favorite nonetheless mr. gibbard) and so im kinda adrift amidst all these goodbyes. Most representative of my attachment to VHHS and their lot: I had precisely 0 nostalgic pictures on the tables and walls at the senior party. On that note, yay for jellyfish. that was way too long. At least everyone else knows now. Like the "current mood" doohickey intones, all is right with the world and it no longer owes me debts (well, ill put some off for now anyway).
